Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost?

The non-refundable session fee for all shoots is £200, payable upon booking. This covers the consultation, planning, hair/makeup, styling and direction, as well as magazine-style editing and retouching. Every person receives one 8x10in mounted included in the session fee, so at the very least, you walk away with one beautiful printed portrait!

I am no saleswoman, all I want is to make photographs you fall in love with, there is no minimum purchase, what you buy is completely up to you.

Individual images start at £95, Image collections start at £700 and all collections include a folio box of images so you can appreciate your photographs every day, as archival quality professional prints.

Wall art and albums also available.

What is the process?

Once a date has been set and contracts/session fees have been exchanged, we will have a full consultation to discuss in more detail what you want from your perfect photoshoot. This can be done either on videocall or face-to-face, and I will make sure you have all the details needed for you to arrive at your shoot ready and full of excitement!

On shoot day you are pampered and preened to a high quality standard, before I take you through several sets/outfit changes, fully directing you the entire time, to capture the best photographs you have ever seen of yourself. The process takes around 3 hours, give or take!

Around a fortnight later, you will come back to the studio to see your images for the first time where you will decide which images you want to purchase.

Where is your studio?

My studio is in my home, a deceptively large cottage nestled in the countryside in the little village of Trawden. I’m easily accessible by public transport and the major cities of Leeds, Manchester and Preston are all within an hours drive. Because its a home studio, there’s a much more relaxed vibe around my photoshoots, which can help no end with those pre-shoot nerves!

Can I have other people, such as my partner or kids, in my shoot?

Yes of course! On family/couples photoshoots I usually ask for kids/partner to arrive towards the end of the shoot so you can enjoy yourself without having to worry that they are getting bored, but I always encourage you to bring your loved ones so I can capture you with the people who mean the most to you! If you do want to bring someone purely for moral support, thats fine too!
